Job Description
Fidelis Healthcare is recruiting experienced Chemotherapy Nurses for temporary, last-minute placements across England and Wales.
As an experienced qualified Chemotherapy Nurse:
You will be responsible for supporting, assessing and advising cancer patients throughout their cancer journey. You will be required to have existing specialist haemato-oncology experience and competency in chemotherapy administration and patient education. In addition to this you must possess knowledge and skills in areas of IV administration (including blood products), venepuncture and cannulation. Working closely with other healthcare departments, excellent organisation and clear record keeping skills will be required for this role. Our typical clients are complex NHS Trusts serving large and diverse populations. As well as providing acute led specialist services to patients from the local area, they often also welcome patients from across the United Kingdom and overseas.
Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK without restriction.
- A valid NMC Pin without restriction.
- Enhanced DBS Check (Dated within 12 months and/or on the update service).
- EPP and Non EPP Cleared Immunisations.
- At least 12 months recent UK experience working in Haematology/Oncology Unit.
- Certification in BLS, ALS and CPR
